Continental Hotel - Built by Florida East Coast Hotel Company. Opened on June 1, 1901. Bought by the Atlantic Beach Corporation in 1913 and renamed the Atlantic Beach Hotel. In 1917, it was sold at auction and bought back by the Florida East Coast Hotel Company and leased to W. H. Adams. The hotel burned in 1919. Side View. |
